46,640 stimulant tablets seized
in Phakant
YANGON,
15 May – A combined team comprising members of the local intelligence unit and
Myanmar Police Force acting on information searched No 1/24, Ward 1, Hmawshan
Village, Seikhmu village-tract, Phakant Township, Kachin State and arrested
Hlyo-yinmyint, Kameik and Labyawnawtaung of Bhamo Township, Sai Win Maung of
Namhkam and Maung Maung Aung of Lashio together with 46,640 stimulant tablets
bearing the word “WY”, a jeep without lisence and K 110,000
on April 28.
Action is being taken
against them under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
