Raw opium seized in Loikaw

ANGON, 6 June -A
combined team comprising members of the local intelligence unit and Taunggyi
Special Anti-drug Squad and the local police force, acting on information,
inspected PaO Yadana Airconb-us with number plate 3 Kha/8722 at Aungban-Loikaw
road on 22 May morning and seized 6.859 kilos of raw opium in side the knapsack
of Win Htaik, a passenger at seat No 24 of the bus.
Action is beina taken against Win Htalk, 18, son of
U Ohn Hlaing of Phayapyu Village in Loikaw
Township and owner of the raw opium Myo Aung of Lai Village in Pekhon Township,
who is at large, under section 15/19 (A)/21 of the Narcotic Drugs and
Psychotropic Substances Law by Kalaw police statiopn.
