Moe Hein Operation Phase 7
From 8 – 16 April, 1983, Khai Lon opilum refinery and opium
refineries 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 of San Ka Lan region in MyanmarThai Border
were destroyed by Moe Hein Operation Phase 7. The Tatmadaw lost 7 of
its men and had 36 injured. From the enemy side 36 were killed and 2
were captured alive. Tatmadaw seized 47 different arms, 10.8 kilograms
of Heroin, 74.5 kilograms of Brown Opium, 19.6 kilograms of Raw
Opium, 549 gallons of Liquid Opium, chemicals and paraphernalia.
