YANGON,
7 April – A combined team comprising members of local intelligence unit and
Myanmar Police Force, acting on information, while waiting on 31st Street
between 84th and 85th Streets in Chanayethazan
Township on 29 March nabbed a drug trafficker
Tan Lo Dar of 389, Thanlyethmaw Ward (West), Mahaaungmye Township, with 30 kilos
of Ephedrine powder. Acting on further information from Tan Lo Dar,the
authorities nabbed Kam Kyi Khoat of Mahamyaing 2nd Ward and Kyi Soe (a) Kisho
Kulma of Thiri Haymar Ward (East), Aungmyethazan Township With 67 kilos of
Ephedrine powder.
Action has been taken against them in accord
with Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
