11 Aug – A combined team comprising members of local intelligence unit and MPF
acting – on information stopped and searched the passenger van (2 Kha/
l128)-which was on its way from Mongshu to Lashio at the fork of Tangyan and
Mandalay Roads on 23 July and arrested Daw Hu Kyein Phaung, daughter of U Zon
Chi, and Yan Day Chi, son of U Yan Way Man, of Ward 5, Lashio, together with
20.9841 kilos of raw opium and-05798 kilo of opium oil in their possession.
Action is-being taken against the two
according to law.
