Tin Win and Kyaw Lin together with seized four
packers of Ephedrine.
YANGON,
28 Jan – Acting on a tip-off, members of local intelligence unit while waiting
at the corner of Kywehsekan 3rd Street in Pyigyidagun Township on 14 January,
saw two persons who arrived there to traffick in drugs.
The authorities seized Tin Win, 37, son of U
Tun Myaing at 124, No 4th Lane,. Gakyi/1 Ward, Pyigyidagun and Kyaw Linn, 33,
son of U Thaung at Ahlon-Kyauksauk Ward, Monywa, together with four packets of
Ephedrine powder weighing 20 kilos and Supercub motorbike 1 Ya/29614..
Action is taken against them under the
Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
