12 July – A combined’ team comprising members of regional intelligence unit and
Myanmar Police Force, acting on
information, while waiting ad Thanlwin Street,Ward 12 in Lashio Township, Shan.
State (North) .on 22 June 2000, searched Kyin San, son of U Kyein San, Ward 5
Lashio Township. The authorities arrested him together with 11,200 stimulant
tablets bearing the word “WY”.
Action was taken against him under the
Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
