Heroin seized in
Nawnghkio
YANGON,
25 July – A combined team comprising members of the local intelligence unit and
Myanmar Police Force, acting on information, while waiting at the check-point of
Nawnghkio searched a bus with number plate La/2247 and arrested Do Khant Tun,
son of U Khwarl Do Htan of Sawbwayanshae Word, Kalay together with 0.4709 kilo
of heroin kept in mosquito boxes.
Action was taken against him in
accord with Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
