San Kyi and San Yee nabbed with 98 kilos of
Ephedrine in Myitkyina on 16 February.
YANGON,
3 March – A combined team comprising members of local intelligence unit and
Myanmar Police Force, acting on information, searched the car with plate No
Bagon 3360 near Nankwe Station, Myitkyina, Kachin State, on 16 February.
They arrested the driver San Kyi,
son of U Kyaw Sein, Khemathiri Ward, Myitkyina and San Yee, son of U Kyaw Sein,
28th Lane, Khemathiri Ward, Myitkyina, together with 98 kilos of Ephedrine
powder in 8 packets.
Action is being taken against
them under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
