Kyaw Oo with seized stimulant tablets.
YANGON,
30 March-A combined team comprising members of regional intelligence unit,
Myanmar Police Force and departments, acting on information, while inspecting
vehicles at Naungnon Check Point in Kengtung Township, Shan State (East) on 18
March, searched a Toyota car (3 Kha/8268) driven by Shake Hun, son of U Lie Su,
Ward 8, Lashio and seized 509,200 stimulant tablets bearing “YW” which
were hidden in the car. Also in the car were Kyaw Kyaw Oo, son of U Tun Khin,
36th Street, Mandalay.
Action is being taken against the two under the Narcotic
Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Laws.
