YANGON,
8 March – A combined team comprising members of local intelligence unit and Myanmar Police Force, acting on
information, while waiting at No 5 region of Konmyinttha Ward, Mongshu Gems Land,
Mongshu, Shan State (South), on 23 February, seized
drug traffickers U Kyaw Shwe’s son Win Maung Oo, U
Myauk Hsam’ s son Myauk Kyin Hsan, U Ar Hsan’s son Ar Khan of No 5 region, Konmyinttha Ward,
Mongshu, and U Si Te Kyin’s son Phone Kyaw of Aungthaya region of Wankan Ward,
Mongshu, together with WY brand 13,800 stimulant tablets kept in 69 packets.
Action is taken against them under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic
Substances Law.
