Heroin,
stimulant tablets seized in Hopong
YANGON,
17 Oct – A combined team comprising members of local intelligence unit and
Myanmar Police Force, acting on information, searched the house of Nay Myo, son
of U Pe’ on Pyidaungsu Road in MyoU Ward, Hopong Township, on 5 October. The
authorities seized four bottles of heroin weighing 20.955 grams and WY brand
8,800 stimulant tablets hidden underground near a brick well behind the house.
Action is taken against him under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances
Law.
