user gets 20 years

3 Oct – A combined team comprising members of local intelligence unit and Kengtung
Special Anti-Drug Squad, acting on information, searched the house of Juya, 46,
of Ward 1, Sanpya Akhar Village in Kengtung, and arrested him together with
947.12 grams of raw opium on 12 June. The Kengtung Police Station filed him
under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. The Kengtung District
Court handed down five years’ imprisonment under Section 15 and twenty years’
imprisonment under Section 19 (A) on him to serve concurrently on 28 August
2000.
