YANGON,
28 Sept – A combined team comprising local intelligence unit and Myan-mar Police
Force, acting on information, waiting at the corner of Kaba Aye Pagoda Road and
Kanyeiktha Road, Mayangon Township, arrested Thein Htaik Soe (a) Nyi Nge Lay,
son of U Tin Soe, of Baho Street, Ward 47, Ahneiktaw Village-tract, Aungmyay
Thazan Township, Mandalay, who came to traffick narcotic drugs, together with
130 stimulant tablets bearing the words “WY” on 17 September this
year. Action was taken against him under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic
Substances Law.
