410,000 stimulant pills
seized in Kengtung

26 June – Members of local intelligence unit and local police force stopped a
Hilux Surf with number plate Ah/9798 driven by Maung Naing (a) Kyaw Naing Swe of
Sinde Village, Yesagyo Township in Magway Division together with Ye Lwin of Ward
8, Tangyan and found 410,000 stimulant pills bearing the letters “WY”
at Tapin check-point in Kengtung on 13 June. The police station concerned has
taken action against them under Narcotic Drugs and Psycho-tropic Substances Law.
