19,570 stimulant pills seized in Thanbyuzayat
Yangon,
22 Oct – Members of local intelligence unit and Myanmar Police Force, acting on
information, searched the house of U Than Myint of Aung San Street, Kyaungpaing
Ward in Thanbyuzayat and arrested him together with 19,570 stimulant tablets
bearing the letters “WY” on 13 October. Action is being taken against him under
Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law by the police station concerned.
