Marijuana seized in Hlinethaya

Yangon, 16 May –

A combined team comprising members of the local intelligence unity, Yangon

Special Anti-drug Squad and Bago Special Anti-drug Squad, acting on information,

searched the house of Kyaw Htay (a) Chit Tee of No 1092/A, Bandoola Street,

Ward-15, Hlinethaya Township, and seized 1.632 kilos of marijuana on 23 April.

Action has been taken against Kyaw Htay (a) Chit Tee, 35, son of U Tin Hla,

under Section 15/19 (A) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
