Stimulant pills seized in Tachilek
Yangon,
20 May – A combined team comprising members of local intelligence unit and
Tachilek Special Anti-drug Squad, acting on information, raided the house of Aik
Pin of 2/35, Mekhaung Ward in Tachilek Township on 4 May and arrested him
together with 45,000 stimulant pills hidden in the ceiling of the house. The
Tachilek Police Station filed Aik Pin, 38, under the Narcotic Drugs and
Psychotropic Substances Law.
