Heroin seized in Mayangon, South Okkalapa

ANGON, 26 April-Acting on information, a combined team including
members of local intelligence unit and Myanmar Police Force, waited near Chawdwingon Traffic
Light on Parami Road in Mayangon, on 12 April and arrested Win Kyaing, son of U San Tun of
Htamalon Village, Thanlyin, who was there for narcotic dug trafficking, together with 17.894
grams of heroin.
      Similarly, Tint Lwin, son of U Tun Tin of No 23 Bogyoke Street Bama-Aye Ward Dawbon, was nabbed on 14 April together with 23.7477 grams of heroin by a combined team including members of local intelligence unit and Myanmar Police Force, Lying in wait at the corner of Parami Road and Thanthuma Road according to information where the suspect was arrived by a white taxi Pa/3296 for drug trafficking.
      Action is being taken against the two according to law.
