Heorin, stimulant tablets seized
YANGON, 14 Aug- A combined team comprising members of local intelligence unit and Myanmar Police Force, acting on information, while waiting at Lwehsutaungpyay Pagoda near Muse-Nankham Road, Shan State (North), on 2 August, stopped and searched a motor-cycle without number plate ridden by Ar Chant (a) Ar Phu, son of U Lauk Sein of Shaukhaw Village of Kutkai Township and Yon Pauk (a) Lau Yon Pauk, son of U Lau Yon Kaung of Mankan Village of Shaukhaw Village-tract, Kutkai Township.
The authorities seized heroin weighing 0.151 kilogrammes kept in eight soapboxes and 200 stimulant tablets in a polyethylene bag.
Action is being taken against them under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotrophic Substances Law.
