312.14 kilos of ephedrine powder seized

YANGON, 10 Feb — Acting on information, a combined team comprising members of the regional intelligence unit and Myanmar Police Force and departmental officals , searched Mandalay – bound Toyota Hilux ( 31/4607) coming from Tamu near the border of Myanmar and India on 2 February morning.

The team seized 312.14 kilos of ephedrine powder and arrested driver Myint Win ( a) Hsanshe, aged 27, son of U Hmwe, Thala Ward – 5, Monywa, and San Lwin ( 1) La Lyanna, aged 37, son of U La Hsan Nga, Zedan Ward-9, Tamu, and Ma Khin Htar Yee (a) Byet ki, aged 27, daughter of U Kawlar, Boakkan Villaga, Tamu Township.

Effactive action will be taken against them according to the law.MNA
