15300 stimulant tablets seized in
Kachin State
YANGON, 1 July – A team
comprising members of regional Defence Services Intelligence unit, Tatmadaw members and
Myanmar Police Force members seized 15,300 stimulant tablets from Haw Myint Kyo, son of U
Haw Law Kya, of Monwan Village, Tamoehnye Village-tract, Kutkai, Shan State, on 15 June at
Hmawshan Village, Phakant, Kachin State.
The authorities, acting on information, stopped the
man and searched him at the place.
Action is being taken against him under the
Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
