Stimulants, Phensedyl, heroin seized in Tamway, Dawbon
YANGON, 17 July- A combined team comprising members of local intelligence unit and Special Anti-Drug Squad, acting on information, searched the house of Mohamad Bila, son of U Suleiman of 24, 136th Street, Maugon Ward, Tamway Township, on 26 June.
They nabbed Mohamad Bila with WY brand 47 stimulant tablets and 60 liters of Phensedyl.
On 27 June, acting on information, while waiting in Min Kyaw Cafe near Minnanda Road in Dawbon Township, the team nabbed Aung Myo Thein, son of U Hsoe Ni of 338, Myoma 10th Street, Ward 4 (North), Thakayta, together with heroin weighing 39.12238 grammes.
Action is taken against them under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
