Heroin seized in Nawnhkio

ANGON, 3 June – A combined team comprising members of regional intelligence unit and
Myanmar Police Force, while searching cars at the check point in Nawnhkio, Shan State (North),
on 20 May, seized heroin weighing 0.077 kilo hidden in the soap boxes carried by Ma Lwan Noe,
daughter of U In Su Shaung, and Ma Bauk Nang, daughter of U Naw Hsaing, of Ward-5,
Region9, Lashio, on board Hilux car (4Ka/4139) driven by Han Win of Nangkham-Mann Vehicle
Association.
Nawnhkio Police Station has taken action against the two according to law.
