33,200 stimulant tablets seized in Mongshu Township
YANGON, 27 Sept – A combined team comprising members of local intelligence unit, Myanmar Police Force, acting on information, searched Mya Yeik Nyo Restaurant in Wunkan Ward, Mongshu GemsLand, Mongshu Township, Eastern Shan State, on 15 September, and arrested Naing Lin, 29, son of U Aung Shwe and Aung Kyaw Zaw, 21, son of U Aung Chit of the same ward together with 9,400 stimulant tablets bearing “YW”.
Upon further investigation, the team exposed and seized 119 packets with 200 stimulant tablets each which were hidden in the ground in Lwaisaung Ward, the same township totalling 33,200 belonging to the two.
Action is being taken against the two according to law.
