Heroin
seized in Muse
Yangon,
21 April – A combined team comprising members of local intelligence unit and
Myanmar Police Force, acting on information, searched the Kywegyo trawler-jeep
at Mawtaung Village in Muse Township, Shan State (North), on 4 April. The
authorities nabbed Daw Mar Kawt, daughter of U Ma La of Mawtaung Village, Muse
Township, with 0.08 kilo of heroin in two soap boxes.
Action is taken
against her under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotrophic Substances Law.
