575 stimulants tablets
seized in Kamayut

21 Feb-A combined team comprising members of local intelligence unit and Myanmar
Police Force, acting on tip-off, searched two men at the corner of Thanlyin
Street and Chindwin Street, Ward 10, Kamayut Township on 26 January 2001. The
authorities found 575 stimulant tablets on Tun Moe (a) Tin Htut, son of U Ohn
Maung of 62, Third Floor, Myaynigon Market Street, Sangyoung Township and Tin
Maung Oo, son of U Khin Maung Than of 100, Bogyoke Street, Ward 4, Mongkai, Shan
State (South). Action was taken against the two in accord with Narcotic Drugs
and Psychotropic Substance Law.
