1.86 kilos of heroin seized in Muse

Yangon,
22 Nov – A combined team comprising members of the local intelligence unit and
Myanmar Police Force, while acting on a tip-off at Mongyu Ywama junction in
Muse, Shan State (North) on 5 November, searched Maung Zay Zee, son of U Zay Lay
of Ward 2, Namphetka Village and seized 6 blocks of heroin weighing 1.86 kilos
on him. Action is being taken against him under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic
Substances Law by the police station concerned.
