cakes seized in Lashio

8 Sept – A combined team comprising members of the local intelligence unit and
Myanmar Police Force, acting on information, stopped and searched a passenger
“Van” car (Bha/ 2229) which was entering the entrance of Lashio, Shan
State (North), on 12 August, and arrested passenger Ma Nan Nwan, daughter of U
Lon She, of Hoya village, Mongyai Township, together with three packets of opium
oil cakes weighing 1.67 kilos.
Action is being taken against her according to
the law.
