Ma Aye Paing and Ma Aye Sein with seized stimulant tablets.
YANGON,
5 April-A combined team comprising local intelligence unit and Myanmar Police
Force, acting on information, searched Ma Aye Paing’s house, and arrested Ma Aye
Paing, daughter of U Sanda, Loihsaunghtauk Region No 5, Mongshu Gemland, Mongshu,
Shan State (South) and Ma Aye Sein, daughter of U Hlaing Kham, Region No 3,
Kongmyinttha Ward, Mongshu, together with 21,000 stimulant tablets bearing the
words “WY”.
Action is being taken against
them under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
