7 Aug – A combined team comprising members of local intelligence unit and
Myanmar Police Force, acting on information, waiting on Thanthuma and Thukhita
Roads in North Okkalapa Township on 23 July, seized drug traffickers Thein Win
(a) Maw Si of 75/ B. Khaing Sabei Street; Ward 7, Hlinethaya Township and Maung
Tu, son of U Maung Sein, of No 151, Mudita 9th lane, Ward 2, North Okkalapa
Township, together with two blocks of marijuana weighing 1.633 kilos.
Action is taken against them under the
Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
