together with seized 4,156,000 stimulant tablets.
YANGON,
22 June – A combined team comprising members of the local intelligence unit and
Myanmar Police Force acting on information, arrested Arfu (a) Arwai, 31, of Muse
who was staying at Leo Guest House in Lashio and Kyape, 31, of Ward 5, Lashio
together with 4,156,000 stimulant tablets bearing the word “WY” and a
Toyota van used in drug trafficking with number plate 1/ Ka 3893 on 31 May,
2000.
Action has been taken against them in accord
with Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
