Heroin refinery seized in Muse Township
Yangon, 19 Jan – A tatmadaw column acting on information seized a heroin refinery in Muse Township, Shan State (North) on 3 January.
The column also impounded three huts, 23.28 kilos of heroin, 45 gallons of ascetic anhydride, 742 gallons of ether, five packets of sodium chloride, 28 bags of quicklime, four bags of charcoal, three glass retorts, three kerosene stoves, three steel retorts, 630 feet of plastic pipes, 15 plastic buckers, five ceramic pots, two water tanks, a measure, two half barrels, 30 plastic containers, two ceramic basins, 60 soap containers, one 9-mm pistol, nine rounds of ammunition, three long magazines of M-22 and two short magazines, 82 rounds of ammunition.
