1.309 kgs of heroin seized in
Lashio
YANGON,
4 May – A combined team comprising local intelligence unit and Myanmar Police
Force, acting on information, searched the house of Timo (a) Yaw Bon, son of U
Chan Yon, Region 3, Ward 12, Lashio, Shan State (North) on 18 April, and
arrested him and Daw Marbi, the same ward, together with 1.309 kgs of heroin in
50 soap boxes.
Action is being taken against
them under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
