Heroin seized in Muse

25 April –  A combined team comprising members of the local intelligence unit

and Myanmar Police Force, acting on a tip-off, searched a house at No 160, Myoma

Ward 5, Kyugok (Pansai), Shan State (North), on 6 April and arrested the host,

Yankyin Shwe, and Nawtaung (a) Liukwa, a guest, who lives in No 157, Kachinsu,

Muse, together with five blocks of heroin weighing 1.75 kilos. The police

station concerned opened a case against them under the Narcotic Drugs and
