Chemical liquid seized in
Muse
Yangon,
22 Jan – A combined team comprising members of local intelligence unit and
Myanmar Police Force, acting on a tip-off, searched a trolley with the number
plate KaKha/183, driven by Yan Lu, near Mongyu 105th mile check-point in Muse
Township, and seized 340.95 litres of Ethyl Etha, 45.46 litres of Acetic
Anhydride and 68.19 litres of Sulphuric Acid, which were to be used in producing
narcotic drugs. Action is being taken against Yan Lu, son of U Yan Kyan Te of
Manta Village, Lunkhan Village-tract, under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic
Substances Law by the police station concerned.
