Heroin seized in Muse

July -A combined team comprising members of local intelligence unit and Muse
Special Antidrug Squad, acting on a tip off, searched motorcyclist Taung Ya Htan,
who was on its way far from Hmantaung Village to Muse Township, on 15 June
morning. The authorities seized 15 soap cups each containing 22 grams of heroin
altogether 330 grams of heroin.
Action is being taken against Taung Ya Htan, 33, son of U Ram
Singh of Homon Ward, Muse, his accomplices Ma Thanda Tun, 24, daughter of U Pa
of Myohaung Ward, Haka, and Zaw Tin Htan, 40, son of U Vuam Mu of Aung Village,
Kale Township under Section 15/19 (A)/20 (A)/21 of Narcotic Drugs and
Psychotropic Substances Law.
