2,450 stimulant tablets seized

22 July – A combined team comprising members of local intelligence unit and
Myanmar Police Force, acting on a tip-off, searched Arkyo, son of U Wunse of
Ward 12, Hsenwi Road, Lashio and Zaw Win (a) Sein Hla, son of U Thaung of No
141, Aung Chantha Ward, Shukhintha Road, Taungyi, at Wuntan Ward, Monghsu Gem
Land, Monghsu, Shan State (South), on 9 July and seized 2,450 stimulant tablets
from them. Action is being taken against them by the police station concerned
under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
