Raw opium seized in Kutkai

Yangon, 24 May –

A combined team comprising members of the local intelligence unit, Muse Special

Anti-drug Squad and local battalions, acting on information, searched the house

of Ma Wun Yin May in Takkanile Village, Kutkai Township, on 6 May afternoon and

seized 7 packages of raw opium weighing 14 kilos. Action is being taken against

Ma Wun Yin May, 28, daughter of U Wun Shin Kya under section 15/19 (A) of the

Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law by Kutkai Police Station.
