Heroin, stimulant tablets seized in Phakant
YANGON, 20 Oct -A combined team comprising 4 members of regional intelligence unit, Myitkyina Anti-drug Squad, local battalion and Myitkyina District Police Station, acting on information, searched Win Naing,38, son of U Po Shan, walking on the sport ground of No 1 Ward, Seikmu Village, Phakant Township and nabbed him together with heroin weighing 0.5443 gram and 1200 stimulant tablets bearing WY.
Acting on further information, the team searched the house of Ma San Kyi, 28, daughter of U Aik Jar of No I Ward, Seikmu Village, Phakant Township and seized 17, 600 stimulant tablets.
Action is being taken against them under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
