1100 stimulant tablets seized in Thingangyun, Mingla Taungnyunt
YANGON, 16 Sept – A combined team comprising members of regional intelligence unit and Myanmar Police Force seized 1100 stimulant tablets from Ma Khin Mar Than (a) Ma Sayifar, 40, daughter of U War Ha of, No 26, 1 Ward, Inwa Street, Hpa-an Township, on 7 September.
The team, while waiting on the Pyihtaungsu bridge on Laydauntkan Road in Thingangyun Township, Yangon Division, nabbed her together with 300 stimulant tablets bearing WY.
Acting on further information, the team searched Room C/7 Building No 174, Banyadala Street, Thabyaygon Ward, Mingala Taungnyunt Township, where she was staying and seized 800 stimulant tablets. She was alleged to have bought those; stimulant tablets from a grocery shop in the market of Maesot, Thailand.
Action is being taken against her under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
