1.15938 kilos opium and 240 ml opium oil seized in Hlegu
YANGON, 7 Sept-A combined team comprising members of regional intelligence and Myanmar Police Force, acting on information, while waiting at the corner of Ngasutaung road on Phaunggyi-Hlegu Road in Hlegu Township, Yangon Division, nabbed Lay Win, son of U Aung Thaing of Neaungdon Village, Hlegu
Township, together with 15 packets of opium.
On further information, the authorities searched his house and seized four packets of opium and 240 millilitres of opium oil.
Acting is being taken against him under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
