GRANTS

In order to promote social development programmes with

community participation, the department makes grants-in-aids programmes to

voluntary organizations in both cash and kind.

The DSW also subsidizes for the

financial assistance to

mother and children (triplets and above). The mother is awarded cash assistance soon after the birth of the children. For

each child for the first year, second year and third year of age, cash assistance are granted by the Department.
