stimulant tablets in Mongshu on 21 February.
YANGON,7 March – A combined team comprising members of local intelligence unit and Myanmar Police Force, acting on a tip-off, on 21 February, waited at Aungthaya block, Wantan Ward, Mongshu Township, Southern Shan State, and searched one Maung Myint, son of U Lawlu, Aungthaya block, Wantan Ward, Mongshu Township, and seized 14,690 stimulant tablets of WY brand, in 54 packets, from his knapsack.
According to his confession, they arrested the owner Soe Myint, son of U Shwe Wa, Wantan Ward, Mongshu Mine, Mongshu Township.
Action is being taken against them under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
