15 May – Members of local intelligence unit
and Myanmar Police Force, acting in information, while searching at Ward 4,
Lashio, Hsenwi Toenship in Shan State (North), stopped a van with number plate 4
Ka/9273 and arrested driver Ar Chan (a) Yan Keay Chan and accomplice
Hlyo Kyin Houng of Ward 8, Lashio together with 97,980 stimulant tablets on 8
May.
The police station concerned
booked them under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
