Stimulant tablets seized in Lashio
Yangon,
19 May – A combined team comprising members of the local intelligence unit and
Lashio Special Anti-drug Squad, acting on information, inspected Ma Sein Win and
Myint Khaing at a house on Myoma Street in Region 7, Ward 1, Lashio on 4 May
evening this year.
The team seized 30,000 stimulant tablets in a plastic bag.
Action is being taken against Ma Sein Win, 56, daughter of U Maung Kyaing of No
24, Plot 67, Ayethaya Kwetthit in Taunggyi, and Myint Khaing, 35, son of U Tin
Oo of Region 5 and Ma Khin Thaung Myint, 45, daughter of U Tin Oo of Region 4 in
Ward 9, Lashio, and absconder Thet Cho Oo, 30, son of U Thein Myint of No 15/48
in Region 15, Ward 8 in Lashio under section 15/19 (A)/21 of the Narcotic Drugs
and Psychotropic Substances Law by Lashio Police Station-1.
