Stimulant tablets seized in Tachilek
YANGON, 2 Aug-A combined team comprising members of local
intelligence unit and Myanmar Police Force, waiting near Siwinhtaung Village, Mong-phone
Village-tract in Tachilek Township, Shan State (East), stopped and searched a Hilux (3 Kha/ 1687)
which left Tachilek on 21 July.
They arrested Sai Owun, driver, son of U Kyaing
Nwe and Sai Yi, conducter, son of U Sai Hsan of Sansaing (Lower) Ward, Tachilek, together with
WY brand 219,600 stimulant tablets, one 7.6 mm pistol, one hand-phone used in Thailand and
19,700 baht. Action is being taken against the two according to law.
