seized in Meiktila

15 Aug – A combined team comprising members of local intelligence unit and
Myanmar Police Force, acting on information, searched the house of Thein Lwin in
Nandawgon Ward in Meiktila and found 45 “WY” stimulant tablets, 40 bottles of
Cough Syrup, 15 tablets of Ephedrine, seven bottles of morphine, eight sets of
disposable syringe and eight needles on 4 August. Action is being taken against
him under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law by the police station
concerned.
